Cathy Browning
Tukwila Fire |
I've been with Tukwila Fire since 2006. Besides the every day great career we all have, I'm involved with Honor Guard, Puget Sound Fire Pipes and Drums and currently serve on the Local 2088 E-Board. In my off time I like all weather hiking, good weather biking and generally anything to stay active. I also enjoy singing, playing mediocre guitar and am learning to play the snare drum.
I am passionate about Peer Support and currently the Tukwila team coordinator. I personally went through a tough time where I needed it and I'm thankful for the resources and people that led me to getting some help. I volunteer with Code4NW and based on conversations with internal/external Peers through the years, I view Peer Support as a powerful resource to our Brothers and Sisters in the Fire Service. |

Tukwila Fire |
I've been married for 33 years have 6 kids and 9 grandkids. I've served with the BSA for 30 years with 26 years as a scoutmaster. I've been in the fire service since 1984 love mountain biking, hiking/ backpack the Great Outdoors. At times we all need to find ways of pouring out the things that we deal with at work and in life. Being on the Wonderland Trail around Mount Rainier or on the Pacific Crest Trail from Oregon to Canada, or down the coastline of Washington. These areas are beautiful and are slow in comparison to the daily life run around. We're all human need to find a way to dump out that cup a l ittle bit when it starts to get too full. Give me a call, lets talk.
