Unified Training for Regional Excellence
"The South King County Fire Training Consortium is the training division for 10 fire agencies located in King County, south of Seattle, Washington. The Consortium combines resources and training officers from member agencies in a single training office to provide regionally consistent training to area firefighters. By sharing a single consistent training curriculum, departments accomplish more annual training, reduce costs and eliminate duplication of training development efforts. Mutual aid operations are enhanced and streamlined when responders from different departments are trained by a single training program. Specialization of training officers allow the training consortium to focus efforts in areas such as Professional Development and Health and Wellness. Improving fitness and nutrition, preventing injury, and providing training and resources to deal with the personal challenges of the fire service profession will help members reach retirement healthy and safe. Our members are worthy of our support and investment in their health and well-being."

"The class exceeded my expectations. It was a great 'drill ground' to use the airport parking garage for what we needed to do. I appreciate that the consortium got information from outside our region - Houston, Vegas, Denver - and brought it back to us to be delivered in this training. It was very worthwhile."
